For the daring sipper, the combination of chilli and lime gives this short mocktail a delicious kick. Plan to make the cordial at least 12 hours ahead, then combine with Vera gin over ice. Garnish with lime zest.
INGREDIENTS
60 ml Vera Ginø
30 ml Chilli & Lime cordial
METHOD
- Build over ice in a stemless glass or rocks glass with short stirs and lime zest.
NOTES
* To make the chilli & lime cordial, microplane 5 limes and combine with 150g of castor sugar and 200g of water in a small container. Stir well to dissolve and then add 1 tsp of chilli flakes. Cover and put it into the fridge for at least 12 hours. Occasionally shake it up to speed up the infusion. When it’s done strain well and add citric acid. Store in a airtight container.
