Product Details

This sweet bottle comes from Blue Nun, one of the world’s oldest wine brands. Blue Nun wines were all the rage in Australian back in the 80s and have certainly kept up with all the modern advancements in winemaking including de-alcolisation. Founded in 1921 by H. Sichel Söhne in Germany, their range of wines captures the heart of Germany.

This is a lively alcohol-free vegan red wine - full-bodied and voluptuous with a deep mineral structure and mouth-filling feel. You'll fall in love with the rich shade of cardinal red, the cherries, blackcurrant, fresh berries and those velvety soft tannins. Oh the tannins. Best served slightly chilled at around of 8-10 degrees celsius.

Blue Nun red soft and fruity

Didn't taste like wine.

Wasn't fruity left an unpleasant taste in my mouth.

Ended up using it in my cooking.

Very disappointed

Lady Susan

I purchased this expecting great things and was disappointed. It tastes marginally wine like, but is more of a heavy grape juice. Too much fruit sweetness for my liking and the nose was more like juice than wine.

Simply delicious

A beautiful red that leaves that velvety berry taste in your mouth that keeps you wanting more.

I really enjoyed this wine with a hearty curry on a cold wintery day.
