Matarromera WIN.E Tempranillo

- Spanish Tempranillo
- Certified Vegan
- Low Sugar
- Cork closure
With a family history in Spanish winemaking, Bodegas Familiares Matarromera combines traditional winemaking techniques with an innovative dealcoholisation process to create wines that can hold their own. Made from Tempranillo grapes in Ribera del Duero in Spain, this bright cardinal coloured non-alcoholic Tempranillo wine features aromas of red fruits and complex palate tannins.
I love lighter style reds but found the non alcohol Tempranillo unrecognisable, flat taste and funny smell and aftertaste. I had to discard it after half a glass. I did find the sparkling white wine nice so think non Alcohol red wines aren’t for me.

Strange taste that can’t be masked mixing with diet lemonade. Wish I could get a refund. If you like a red that parallels to Ribena give this a go. Wish I didn’t buy the case

Disappointing, as Spanish non-alcohol wines are usually good. Insipid with a cordial flavour. Also, it has a cork - who wants a cork? I'm not planning to cellar the stuff.

I wasn't sure what I was after with this one. But I really, really enjoyed it! Flew through the three bottles I ordered. Made Dry July very bearable - almost, dare I say, easy!

This could be a nice chilled drink in Summer but doesn't taste like a tempranillo

I have been exploring the NA wine world for a few months now and have found some wines that I really rate highly but this is not one. I could not even get through a glass. Massively disappointed as it was highly recommended to me in store. Very, very sweet, no resemblance to wine, basically feels like a juice.
