Smoky and interesting
I am not a regular mezcal drinker but I found this quite interesting and a fun drink to experiment with.

Experience the essence of authentic mezcal with Sammy Piquant’s Oaxacan non-alcoholic spirit, inspired by ancient Mexican traditions. Crafted from roasted agave with hints of salty lime and a touch of habanero heat, this sophisticated drink offers the classic smokiness of mezcal without the alcohol. Ideal for mindful drinkers, the Oaxacan brings the soul of Mexican mezcal to your glass—no alcohol required.

Over the last 10 years I've probably sampled every non alcoholic substitute on the market, and this is the first one that really does the job. 40% this, 40% lime juice, plus 20% Sammy Piquant Jetsetter, plus ice and a salt rim does the best mocktail that actually tastes like the real thing. Awesome!!

My new favourite AF - smells as close to real thing as I've gotten. Great for classic Margarita however I miss my Bloody Mary's! Love different versions but always with extra chilli. Splash of pickle juice also lifts up the acidity.

Sammy Piquant The Oaxaca is the perfect non-alcoholic substitute for mazcal in Margaritas. When my parnter quit alcohol last year, he was missing margaritas, as he makes very good ones. After reading all of the substitute tequilas/ mezcals, this is the one closest to the one we were using, (Monte Alban Mezcal) based on the description, so I took the plunge and ordered it. When we opened it and smelt it, it was perfect. After mixing, the drink tasted delicious, and we added 3 drops of green tabasco, just enough to give a little kick that was missing from the alcohol burn. Very refreshing summer mocktail. Even one of our mates who has tasted the alcohol version, tasted this mocktail and agreed how good it was.
Recipe:
2 shots/60mL "The Oxaca" (Mezcal substitute)
1 shot/ 30mL Lyres Orange (Cointreau/triple sec substitute)
1 1/2 limes juiced
3 drops green tabasco, optional to give little kick similar to missing alcohol burn
Ice
Shake
Rim the glassware with lime skins, and dip into prefered rim salt, we like tajin, which contains chilli and paprika.
Pour and enjoy!
