What is vegan wine?
Vegan wine is wine that has been made without the use of animal products. While wine is made from grapes, some traditional wine making agents are not vegan friendly. For example, egg whites or casein (a milk protein) can be used to remove tiny particles of sediment in wine that can’t be removed via filtration. Other animal products include beeswax, which is sometimes used to seal bottles, and agglomerated corks, which use milk-based glues. Why isn’t all wine vegan?

How can you tell if a wine is vegan?
