Pinot Grigio - Non Alcoholic Wine

Pinot Grigio, traditionally produced in Italy and Pinot Gris, traditionally produced in France, both take their names from the grey-red grape they are made from. Pinot Gris is typically a fruity, medium to full-bodied wine featuring melon, pear, and apricot as well as subtle floral and spicy notes. Pinot Grigio tends to be lighter in structure, featuring crisp fruit flavours such as citrus, lemon, white peach and green apple. Our great range of non-alcoholic Pinot Grigio and Pinot Gris brands include Plus & Minus, Dr Zenzen and Edenvale.

Popular Questions

Is Pinot Grigio and Pinot Gris the same?

Pinot Grigio and Pinot Gris are in fact the exact same grape variety. The grape originally came from France, where it is known as Pinot Gris, while across the border, in Italy, it is known as Pinot Grigio. The French and Italian wine making techniques are slightly different, so the two wines have their own distinct characters.

Is Pinot Gris or Pinot Grigio drier?

Pinot Grigio is generally harvested earlier than Pinot Gris, which means that it tends to be lighter bodied, drier and crisper.

Which is better Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio?

Pinot Grigio has high acidity levels, so it usually tastes less sweet than a Chardonnay. Pinot Grigio also lacks the oak flavours and aroma Chardonnay is known for.
