What is non-alcoholic sparkling wine?
The only difference between non-alcoholic sparkling wine and regular sparkling wine is the alcohol content. All of the sparkling wine sold at Sans Drinks contains no more than 0.5% ABV, these wine have been de-alcoholised – this means that it has been made using traditional winemaking techniques, with an additional step in which the alcohol is gently removed. We also stock a range of Sparkling Wines which contain 0.0% alcohol. In all cases these non alcoholic sparkling wines have the taste, structure and mouthfeel of traditional sparkling wine.
What is the best non-alcoholic sparkling wine?

Is Non-alcoholic Champagne Halal?
Not all non-alcoholic champagne and non alcoholic sparkling wine is Halal, however, we do stock a large range of Halal Certified wines including the Thomson & Scott’s Noughty and the Le Petit Etoile Sparkling which are both non-alcoholic sparkling Chardonnay. Which sparkling wine has the least calories?
Lots of customers ask us, ‘Is sparkling wine good for you?’. We tell them that non alcoholic sparkling wine and non alcoholic champagne is much better than their alcoholic counterparts. Notwithstanding the alcohol component, alcohol free champagne and sparkling wine alternatives are often low sugar and low calorie. According to Food Standards Australia, the low sugar label can be used for beverages that contain 2.5g of sugar per 100g or less, and the low calorie label can be used for beverages that are 19 calories or under. So if you are wondering, how many calories in sparkling wine, then you can be sure that all the options in our low calorie section are under 19 calories per 100g so there is no need to worry about sparkling wine calories.
Is it safe to drink non-alcoholic champagne while pregnant?
Many zero-alcohol wine has traces of alcohol (up to 0.5%), which is similar to fresh fruit juice and is considered zero-alcoholic. Many of our customers enjoy our wines throughout their pregnancy and breastfeeding, however we always recommend discussing with your GP.
