Le Petit Chavin crafts its wines in the South of France, where the cool climate and Mediterranean sea enriches each grape. Laden with sweet aromas and structure, this Merlot has no sulphites. Has an alcohol degree of 0% due to its slow dealcoholization process. It bears three times fewer calories and more polyphenols, vitamins, and minerals than its traditional counterpart.

This wine certainly smells like wine (not juice). It only has a slightly “juicy” aftertaste; unlike many of the others I have tried. So far, this is the front runner in my race to be alcohol free

Lovely soft, savoury wine with a subtle hint of sweetness
I have tried several non-alcoholic red ones and generally been disappointed, but I’ve liked this one the best so far. This one doesn’t taste like the Australian reds I usually drink, it reminds me of wines I had when on holiday in Barcelona. A peppery/savoury nose with a very faint hint of sweetness in the background that balances out well. Soft and interesting, I really like it.

Good alco free alternative
This is one of my favourite alco free reds. It is light, easy drinking. Of course, it lacks the umph of the alcohol but after a while your tastebuds adjust and you feel great in the morning!

Great mouth feel and plenty of berry taste
This wine needs a good half hour open prior to drinking to enjoy the full mouth feel and aromatic berry nose. It is a lovely ruby/cherry color and has a mild berry taste, with a hint of floral freshness. It tastes like a young wine but it still has plenty of palate to keep you interested.
