Fluere Gimlet Gin Mocktail

The story of the Gimlet is said to date back to the 17^th century when British soldiers mixed lime with their grog to ward off scurvy.  The name gimlet itself was a small tool used to top the spirit barrels on the ships. Tangy and sweet with a juniper gin aroma, this gin mocktail take on the original can definitely be sipped ocean-side or on your back deck. Best served in a Nick & Nora glass, with a sunken Maraschino cherry.

 

INGREDIENTS

60 ml Fluere Original
20 ml Lime cordial
Cherry maraschino

METHOD

1. Add ingredients to mixing glass.
2. Stir gently.
3. Pour into a Nick & Nora glass.
4. Garnish with a cherry maraschino at the bottom of the glass.
