Cuba Libre Rum Mocktail garnished with lime wheels next to a bottle of Lyre's Dark Cane Spirit Sans Drinks

Originating in Havana around the turn of the Twentieth Century, the Cuba Libre, or rum and coke, was first enjoyed by American soldiers stationed in Cuba during the Spanish-American War. It caught on and has become one of the world’s most popular drinks. A twist on the original, this rum mocktail combines the sophisticated taste and aroma of dark rum in Lyre’s Dark Cane Spirit with lime juice and the smokeyness of Artisan’s Barrel Smoked Cola, elevating the blend with its notes of smoked oakwood and cinnamon. Smooth with hints of citrus, this mocktail can be enjoyed all year round and is best served in a highball glass with ice and a garnish of sliced lime.

INGREDIENTS
60 ml Lyre's Dark Cane Spirit
15 ml Lime Juice
90 ml Artisan Barrel Smoked Cola
METHOD
  1. Add all ingredients in a highball glass, add ice and stir.
  2. Garnish with a slice of lime.
