Sazerac Mocktail next to a bottle of Lyre's American Malt and a bottle of Lyre's Absinthe Sans Drinks

The Sazerac originated in New Orleans and was named for the Sazerac Coffee House in which it was the signature drink during the 1850’s. Simple and timeless, this whiskey mocktail is a delicious union of Lyre’s American Malt and Lyre’s Absinthe, non-alcoholic versions of bourbon whiskey and traditional absinthe. Flavours from the sugar, bitters and absinthe accentuate the smooth, full-bodied flavours of the American Malt, resulting in a well-balanced and enjoyable blend. Garnish simply with a piece of lemon peel.

INGREDIENTS
60 ml Lyre's American Malt
15 ml Lyre's Absinthe
1tsp white sugar syrup (1:1)
3 dashes non-alcoholic bitters
METHOD
  1. Stir briefly over fresh cubed ice.
  2. Garnish with lemon peel.
