Mocktail Recipes

Two Spicy Margarita Mocktails garnished with apple slices in tall glasses rimmed with cinnamon Sans Drinks

The iconic Mexican drink gets a little spicy! This version of the margarita mocktail features a muddled jalapeno wheel which adds some heat and intensity to the customary tart, citrusy, and salty punch. Made with premium ingredients including Tahitian lime, Murray River sea salt and distilled cucumber, Naked Life’s Virgin Margarita is a great base for the mocktail. Add in some pure apple juice and jalapeno for depth and complexity, and garnish with a star of anise and a slice of apple or lime. The result is a delicious and refreshing mocktail that will have you returning for more.

INGREDIENTS

1 Naked life Virgin Margarita
30ml of pure apple juice
1 Jalapeno wheel seeds removed (add extra for more heat)

Dash ground cinnamon Ice Cinnamon/sugar/salt rim blend and garnish

1 teaspoon sugar (we suggest coconut sugar, but raw sugar will also do)
1 teaspoon kosher salt or sea salt
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Lime wedges
Optional garnish: 1 star of anise and a slice of apple

METHOD
  1. On a small plate, use a fork to blend the sugar, salt and cinnamon. Run a wedge of lime around the top of each drinking glass, then turn the glass down at a 45-degree angle and roll the top of the glass through the cinnamon, sugar and salt blend.
  2. Add the Jalapeno wheel to each glass and gently muddle.
  3. Add the ice, a dash of ground cinnamon, Naked life Virgin Margarita and apple juice to the glass and stir
  4. Garnish with a star of anise and a slice of apple
