Mocktail garnished with basil leaf and made with ovant verve
When served in a cut crystal glass coupe, this light, frothy little number will refresh your palate and add a bit of prohibition-era elegance to any occasion. With a base of herbaceous Ovant Verve and flavours of watermelon, basil and mint, it brings a taste of summer with every sip. Meanwhile, the egg white creates a creamy texture that melts in your mouth. To serve, simply sit a single basil leaf on top.
INGREDIENTS
60ml Ovant Verve
30ml Watermelon and Basil Shrub
15ml Basil and Mint Syrup
15ml Lemon Juice
1 Egg White
Basil Leaf
METHOD
  1. Add Ovant Verve, watermelon and basil shrub, basil and mint syrup, lemon juice and egg white to a cocktail shaker and dry shake for 5 seconds.
  2. Fill the shaker with ice and shake for 10 seconds.
  3. Double-strain into a coupe glass.
  4. Garnish with a basil leaf.
