Ovant Lemon and Lime Sour

A healthy take on the classic Sour, this delicious mocktail is flavoursome and uplifting. Ovant Verve, a gin alternative with a strong herbaceous profile, is an invigorating base for this mix. With spice notes and an overall savory quality, it blends well with the tang of the citrus flavours in the juice and bitters, and a hint of sweetness from the syrup. Intense and delicious, the mocktail exhibits the iconic foamy top of a sour and is best served with friends. Garnish with a kaffir lime leaf.

INGREDIENTS

60ml Ovant Verve
30ml Lemon Juice 

20ml Orgeat syrup
1 Egg White
1 dash Lemon Bitters
Kaffir Lime Leaf

METHOD

1. Add Ovant Verve, lemon juice, citrus syrup, bitters, and egg white to a cocktail shaker and dry shake for 5 seconds.
2. Fill the shaker with cubed ice and continue to shake for 5 seconds.
3. Double-strain into a chilled coupe glass.
4. Garnish with a kaffir lime leaf.
