What makes Thomson & Scott Noughty Sparkling wine different?
When Amanda Thomson set out to make a non-alcoholic wine that would not compromise on flavour or style. Amanda studied wine making at the iconic Cordon Bleu School in France, and her knowledge and skills are apparent in the sheer popularity of her wines.
What makes the Thomson & Scott Noughty Taste like?
In a review, BBC Good Food said that Noughty sets the bar high for competitors, writing, “in our opinion Noughty is the closest match for a real wine.” The same review went on to say that the Noughty Chardonnay offers clean, crisp notes of apple and the Noughty rose features a delicate blend of summer berries. “Both drinks achieve a sophisticated balance of sweetness and acidity which is invigorating on the palate,” the review concludes.
What are the additional benefits of being Organic?
In order to be classed as a fully organic wine, the winery must meet with strict requirements and grapes must be grown without herbicides, pesticides or other artificial or synthetic chemicals. Amanda Thomson is passionate about eradicating nasty chemicals from the wine world. In an industry rife with wineries that spray all kinds of chemicals on their grapes, and use a plethora of nasty ingredients in their wines, the Thomson & Scott brand have committed to making organic wine.
