Is Zeffer 0% Crisp Apple Cider healthy?

 

There is a lot of scientific evidence to show that alcohol has a detrimental effect on our health. For this reason, all non-alcoholic beer and cider are healthier than their alcoholic counterparts. On top of this, Zeffer 0% Crisp Apple Cider is low in calories with 12 calories per 100ml. 

 

How is Zeffer 0% Crisp Apple Cider made? 

 

Zeffer Cider Co makes their non-alcoholic cider the same way they make their range of traditional ciders. The Zeffer 0% Crisp Apple Cider then undergoes a de-alcoholisation process in a spinning cone. This method is also used to remove the alcohol from many popular non-alcoholic wines. After de-alcoholisation, the Zeffer 0% Crisp Apple Cider has an ABV (alcohol by volume) of less than 5%, which is similar to the amount of alcohol you’ll find in fruit juice. 

 

What does Zeffer 0% Crisp Apple Cider taste like? 

 

Zeffer 0% Crisp Apple Cider is an off-dry non-alcoholic craft cider that has a full flavour. Like a classic cider, it is lightly sparkling and well-balanced, with hints of sweetness. Zeffer 0% Crisp Apple Cider has won several awards including a silver medal at the 2022 NZ Cider Awards and Highly Commended at the 2022 New World Beer and Cider Awards.
