What makes Yes You Can different?
When Australian Olympian Tyler Martin was training for the Olympics he found himself looking for good quality non-alcoholic spirits. With a gruelling training schedule, there was no time to waste with hangovers, but he still wanted to feel included at social gatherings.
A few years later, when Tyler’s partner Sophie fell pregnant, the issue came up again. When they couldn’t find a non-alcoholic drink that ticked all the boxes, they decided to create their own range. Aiming for an inclusive brand that doesn't take itself too seriously, they embarked on a mission to create drinks with complex and sophisticated flavour profiles.
Tyler and Sophie wanted the Yes You Can range to be as close to the classics as possible, so they engaged a team of food scientists and technologists who worked tirelessly to come up with the perfect recipes.
What is the Yes You Can flashback?
The Yes You Can Flashback is an integral part of the range - it’s a little kick or ‘flash’ in the back of your throat that replicates the warmth you feel when you drink alcohol. The Flashback is made with an all natural blend of botanical extracts and is a big feature in all three of the Yes You Can drinks.
Perhaps it’s the Flashback that has made Yes You Can drinks so successful. Since launching last year, they have won a whole array of awards including gold at the World Drink Awards, The London Spirits Competition (where they went head to head with alcoholic RTDs) and the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Where does the name Yes You Can come from?
The catchy name comes from the ideology behind the brand - while forgoing alcohol you can still say yes to your favourite drinks, time with your friends and great nights out.
