What is the difference between non-alcoholic wine and a non-alcoholic wine alternative?

Non-alcoholic wine is made using traditional winemaking techniques and then undergoes alcohol removal prior to bottling. A non-alcoholic wine alternative is made without alcohol. In the case of NON, the fruits, herbs and other natural ingredients are steeped in hot water and verjus (acidic juice from unripe grapes) to draw out an array of delicious and unique flavours.

What does NON taste like?

NON have crafted a range of seven sensational non-alcoholic wine alternatives, each taking on the flavour profile of a different classic wine. NON 1 Salted Raspberry & Chamomile features Flavours of raspberry and chamomile, along with a dash of Murray River salt to round out the balance. NON 2 Caramelised Pear & Kombu is similar in taste, aroma and mouthfeel to a classic French Farmhouse Cider. NON 3 Toasted Cinnamon & Yuzu is a contemporary twist on a classic white wine that features Japanese yuzu, Sri Lankan cinnamon and Murray River salt. NON 4 Roasted Beetroot & Sansho makes a great alternative to a sparkling Shiraz. It features earthy flavours of beetroot, tamari, sansho pepper and other spices. NON 5 Lemon Marmalade & Hibiscus is a lightly carbonated alternative to a traditional Petillant Farmhouse Gose (a sour fermented beer). It features lemon flavours along with hibiscus and Citra hops. NON 6 Tomato water & Peppers is reminiscent of a low intervention Sauvignon Blanc. It features flavours of Andalusian vegetables and has a crisp finish. NON 7 Stewed Cherry & Coffee is a full-bodied and subtly spiced wine alternative that features flavours of sour cherry, spice and undertones of cold brew coffee.

Who can drink NON wine alternatives?
