Created in the early 2000’s by famed NYC mixologist Audrey Saunders, the Old Cuban pays homage to the 1920’s Prohibition era, when American socialites flocked to Cuba to party. Considered a modern classic, this rum mocktail is a fusion of a mojito and a champagne cocktail. Wonderfully fresh and festive, it combines the flavours of white rum, lime, mint, and aromatic bitters with Lyre’s Classico, an alcohol-free version of a traditional crisp, dry Italian sparkling prosecco. Perfect for dinner parties, simply garnish with mint leaves and enjoy.
