I received a cute little bottle of this in my taster pack - and what a find! Will definitely be buying the full size bottle. Taste is spot on for me, down to the pleasant warmth of the real deal. Highly recommend!

Amazing flavour of caramel with a hint of heat. It has the same mouth feel as the alcoholic version and feels really special to drink.

This is one of my favourite of the Lyre brand. It is great with coke and as a base for non alcoholic dark rum cocktails.

I was sceptical about this but wanted a drink that my husband and I could enjoy during Autumn/Winter. We have often enjoyed an alcoholic spiced rum with ginger and hoped that we could recreate that using the Lyre's Dark Cane Spirit.
With a mixer, such as ginger beer/ale, it certainly doesn't disappoint. It has a warmth, slight sweetness and spicy notes that you'd associate with drinking a rum and mixer.
We would definitely purchase this again!

Mixed its a great substitute however it loses a lot being drunk neat. Would still buy it again without hesitation tho .
