The Non-Alcoholic Drinks Trending This Month - August Edition

Although the 5km lockdown rule has kept our Freshwater shop relatively quiet, our on-line store has been more busy than ever. In fact, August has proved to be one of our busiest months yet.

Here are the drinks that customers have been stocking up on.

Spring is in the air!

The new spring bundles have sold so well in the last few weeks that we hardly have any left left in the warehouse.

Non-Alcoholic Spring Sparkling Bundle - 4 Pack

[product name="premium-sparkling-bundle-4-pack"]

What's in it: Wild Life Sparkling Nude (UK), Barton & Guestier (France), Polka Sparkling with lilly pilly (Australia) & Plus & Minus Blanc de Blanc (Australia).

What customers are saying: "This was my first purchase from Sans Drink. It is such as good idea as it gives a great intro to non-alcoholic bubbles. I have already placed my second order."

Non-Alcoholic Spring Mixed Wine Bundle - 4 Pack

[product name="non-alc-spring-wine-bundle-6-pack"]

What's in it: Wild Life Sparkling Blush (UK), Barton & Guestier Sparkling (France)

Newblood Chardonnay (Australia) and Plus & Minus Rose (Australia)

Gin-tastic alternatives

Non-alc gin continues to be a big seller. It's so exciting to see our alt-gin range expand.

Pentire Seaward

[product name="pentire-seaward"]

The taste: This gin has been crafted from botanicals that are native to the North Cornwall coastline, such as sea rosemary, woodruff, and wild seaweed. Taste wise, expect zesty grapefruit and suable hints of berry

Hellfire (pink alt-gin)

[product name="hell-fire-pink-gin"]

The taste: Crafted with juniper and citrus botanicals and balanced with ripe notes of juicy Tasmanian blackcurrants, the complex flavour profile includes a hint of Szechuan pepper and pimento on the finish.

What customers are saying: "This is an excellent gin substitute. Perfect for a G&T. I like to add either a slice of lime or lemon. I don’t find it 'spicy' but there is a lovely strong cinnamon type flavour."

Gordon's 0.0

[product name="gordons-alcohol-free-alt-gin"]

The taste: With the same iconic flavour of the iconic Gordon's gin, this zero alcohol version has a smooth texture, and a complex flavour profile featuring bold juniper notes and a subtle hint of citrus.

What customers are saying: "I loved this, it tastes just like the real thing."

New Non-Alcoholic Drinks

I love to see the non-alc market expanding! August has been a bumper month in terms of new products. Here are just a few of the standouts.

Thomson & Scott Noughty Rose

[product name="thomson-scott-noughty-rose"]

The taste: A classic rose colour, this sparkling wine features aromas of freshly picked summer berries. It's invigorating on the palate, with the perfect balance of sweetness and acidity.

What customers are saying: "Very drinkable sparkling rosè that shows slight peach and musk notes. It's relatively dry for a non alcoholic wine, making it a lot more acceptable than most non-alc drinks. Recommended if looking for a celebratory alcohol free sparkling."

NON 7 - Stewed Cherry & Coffee

[product name="non-7-strewed-cherry-coffee"]

The taste: This NON is reminiscent of a dry Lambrusco. It is a full bodied and subtly spiced wine alternative that is rich in dark fruits. Flavours feature sour cherry, spice with undertones of cold brew coffee.

NON 6 Tomato water & Peppers

[product name="non-6-tomato-water-peppers"]

The taste: This NON is reminiscent of a skin contract Sauvignon Blanc. It is a bright, crisp wine alternative that has a verdant nose and a silky mouthfeel.

Corona Cero

[product name="corona-cero-non-alcoholic-beer"]

The taste: With the same great taste as the original Corona, this non-alc beer is full of flavour. Corona Cero is refreshing and crisp and best served with a slice of lime.

Snorkeler's Sea Salt IPA

[product name="snorkelers-alcohol-free-sea-salt-ipa"]

The taste: The addition of Baltic Sea Salt gives this beer a unique salty tang that is complemented by a soft, fruity aftertaste and hint of bitterness.
